On the Move...

So we've seemed to vanish from the "blog".....but we've resurfaced! The driving force behind this is that we've moved from Vancouver...down the road mind you, but it's a move nonetheless. We found a grow-op in Burnaby...we fixed it up...continue to fix it up...and will be fixing it up for quite some time. Here are a few pics.

Keep in mind these are all before pics....below you'll find more pics of us doing the reno's.....and then finally the after pics.

Here is the front yard...from the street looking up.

Here are the numerous stairs to the front door....too many for our liking, but that was factored into...can't have everything I guess. We're planning to do a slide straight down to the road...

...after we painted rail and brightened things up...

Here is the first set of stair to the front yard...

The back of the house. The roof has now been replaced, but it should didn't look good.

The back patio and side neighbor

The newly painted rails, some patio furniture and plants....

From the patio looking up to the back garage....you can slightly see the terraced backyard - ton's of potential.

Well here is the single car garage...definitely needs some TLC

The lovely kitchen!?!?!?

Take a look at those nice countertops...

After we gutted the kitchen....not much fun

The cupboards we slapped togehter

The new appliances....

The front Master Bedroom....with the original color of the hardwood floor - we've now changed the color.

Prepping the crazy plaster walls.....an aweful experience....

The newly sanded floors.....sanding these floors is a long story...a not so pleasant one.
